ABOUT

Canadian artist, Donna Voisin, creates landscape oil paintings in the style of realism. She began sketching and painting nature at an early age. She followed the teaching of three local artists.

During relaxed walks amongst community parks and cycling trips along forested trails, Donna was fully immersed in the beauty, sounds and tranquility. Forest bathing reignited her passion to capture nature’s aura.

Donna retreated from painting in pursuit of life experiences, including that of a multi-sport travel mom, and working in education. Her focus moved to supporting the dreams of others.

As the world stood still in 2020, Donna was drawn to explore the sensory experiences of her community’s parks and forests.

Inspired by the ever-changing colours, serenity and movement of her surroundings, and all she has previously experienced travelling across North America, her passion to create reawakened.
